Qubo developed products designed to meet various certifications, ensuring the high quality and technological standards that characterize its production.
Technical expertise, quality, research, and production standardization have always been only a part of of Qubo’s strengths. Our fabrics are designed and produced with full respect for the surrounding environment, using cutting-edge technologies, that allow us to develop each item and make it suitable for all specifications outlined by the relevant regulations in the various markets we operate in.
Adapting to the needs of our clients, while also meeting safety and performance requirements, is the foundation of our work.
The IMO, International Maritime Organization, is the specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for developing principles and techniques for international maritime navigation to ensure order and safety.
The MED – Marine Equipment Directive – 2014/90/EU aims at harmonizing the conformity of equipment for passenger and cargo ships on European level.
To ensure safety onboard ships, all onboard equipment is tested, including furnishings, sunbeds, and decks, areas where our fabrics set a market reference for both aesthetics and performance.
Our fabrics are tested in accredited external laboratories, which check their fire resistance, as well as the toxicity and opacity of the fumes, thereby guaranteeing the safety of those who may come into contact with them and the protection of the marine environment. It is thanks to this commitment that our fabrics are marked with the prestigious “Helm” symbol.
